This has to be one of the smoothes quietist Cadillacs I have ever driven, I am truly amazed at how this car drives. This car sat for many years in storage and had a lot of mechanical work done to it and was a loved car. It had a valve job, new timing chain, water pump, front end work, brakes, dual exhaust, A/C compressor and numerous other things prior to being put in storage. The fuel tank was removed and flushed prior to running the car and a new fuel pump was involved. The car is loaded with factory options including automatic dimming twilight sentinal, tilt wheel, power door locks, and after market cruise control. We have driven the car and it shifts as it should and the car rides as smooth as a glass. The tires have good tred and were replaced about a year ago. The chrome on the car is really in beautiful condition overall there is no pitting see pic for two small indents on the front bumper. Finding with chrome as good as this is a rare occurance and will save you $$ on re chroming. The undercarriage of the car is beautiful no rust and a very nice & clean. The transmission was rebuilt about 30K miles ago. The receipts for work done come with the car. This car is in need of cosmetic restoration the paint is bad and the interior will need to be redone at some point, the only obvious body flaws I see are rust and the bottom/ side of the front fenders which is very unusual but is an easy repair. see pics. The convertible top motor works, one of the metal parts of the frame is cracked but I will include a replacement arm for the buyer. You will need to replace the top. The window motors all function, two need help when going up and down. May need regulators or just grease I dont know. The windows were tinted at some point in its life and the tint should be removed. I turned on the A/C and the compressor engaged and cycles. When you step on the brakes on a hard stop they shimmy, I think it will need a new disc. EMAIL WITH ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BID.
