OK Guys, this is NOT a chopped up and welded together "LIKE NEW" Custom Cruiser!! You have probably seen this one on E-BAY before and the reason is because someone wanted to buy it for the same amount I am asking now but put it on E-BAY and sell it to make a few buck on it? The bid did get higher than my current reserve price but did not get to his reserve price, so it did not sell. If you were one of the bidders, here is your chance to buy it for less than you bid before! This fj is in very good condition with little to no rust and no replaced body parts. It does have surface rust on the frame and underside of body, not serious rust. It is very solid and runs like a top with 85k + miles on it!! The headliner has a few small tears as well as the original rear jump seats and door panels. The rear jump seat straps need to be replaced as well as the front windshield, it has a couple of rock nicks in it. The radio is not original and is not hooked up, there are no speakers. It does have a little road walk I believe can be adjusted out with the steering box. You can still see original paint under the front fenders, shown in a couple of photo's. There are also a couple of pics of the floor pan, drivers side and passenger side, with the original floor mats pulled back to show it is not rusted out, just a little surface rust. There was a leak in the clutch slave cylinder that damaged the paint on the firewall inside and out. The cylinder has been repaired. It does have all of the smog control, so would be legal in Cal., but I do not guarantee that. I am asking a reasonable amount for this cruiser, some may think it's too much, but when you can find a low milage cruiser thats not all rusted out and in original condition with a few improvements your gonna have to pay for it. I am the third owner of this fj and have owned it about 2 or so years. Since I have owned it, I have replaced the tires with original style Good Year Mud Terrain (5), installed new Warn Hubs, ball joints, tie rod ends, HFS front bumper, HFS shackle kit, rebuilt Warn winch,(with new bushings, cable, solenoid kit and remote cable) new battery, new radiator, plug wires, cap, rotor, front drive axle seals, oil pan gasket, door seals (all doors, some not installed yet) exterior door handles(not installed yet), u-joints (1 set not installed yet) ........and the list goes on and on. The previous owner had a valve job done, new brakes, new clutch, new seat covers( one with a small shop lite damage to it), new exhaust system, new dash replacement cover ( not glued in yet) new water pump, paint job (not show quality but a very good driver quality 7 out of 10). This fj is always stored indoors. I do not collect these and rebuild them to resale, I bought this one to use in the mountains but it is just too nice to tear up, and besides, I have way too much money in it to tear it up!! I would like to mention I do have experience in restoring vintage vehicles so I am not new at recognizing quality. If you are looking for a NICE fj, please do not pass this one up!! It is not perfect, but closer to perfect than the ones people cut up, weld new panels on, replace everything with aftermarket parts and call it "LIKE NEW" and sell it for 20-30k!, they are " SALVAGED VEHICLES" , no and if or buts!! I have described this fj as best I can and have put the max. amount of pic's on this site allowed but will send any pic you need to make a sound judgement. Please do not bid if you are not in the market for and nice cruiser. Please look at my reviews and it should tell you I WILL NOT HIDE ANYTHING ON THIS VEHICLE. I will do anything within reason to help with the delivery process, including delivering it myself. I will deliver it for $2.00 per loaded mile with payment up front. If I bring it to you and it is not what I said it was, I will refund the deposit and go home, no questions asked! Delivery cost will not be refunded.
