1974 VW Bus converted to camper. The exterior has a relative cheap white over blue production paint job to cover an even cheaper white over red paint job. The wheels are after market 15 inch wheels. I had to modify the edge of the wheel wells to accommodate the bigger wheels. The interior has been converted to a champer. I did all the interior work myself except for the front seats which were recovered professionally. The rear facing seat behind the driver seat has a portapotty under the seat. I installed a pergo flooring in the area behind the front seats and the back bench seat which folds out to complete the bed. There is fold out table between the rear facing seat and the bench seat. There is a hanging clauset and an over head bin. The head liner is made of wall paneling. There is carpet in the driver compartment. I also added a short stroke shifter so I wouldn't have to undo the seat belt to reach 3rd gear. I added 3 gages to the dash to monitor the voltage, oil pressure and tempature. There is a Sirius with two speakers in the door panels and two speakers in the over head bin This vehicle had a 1.7cc engine. I had it rebuilt about 15000 miles ago and beefed it up to a 2.0 with two carbs. Vehicle is good looking and good running.
