Vehicle Detail
RX7-LS3-V8/ Corvette, Mustang, Camaro, Trans-Am, Lamborghini, Supra, Porsche, 350Z, Sports Car Eater. Eleven second or less and can be a show car or daily driver. UPDATE: DYNOED & TUNED 503 HORSEPOWER TO REAR WHEELS (Sept. 24th, 2009) Each cell was tuned and calibrated to peak performance by a professional race car mechanic. NOT YOUR ORDINARY LS SWAP. LS1, HA! TRY A 2008 LS3/6.2 ltr. WITH LOTS OF INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL MODIFIED EXTRAS!!! This car has been rebuilt from ground up. Everything on it has been replaced with either new parts or has restored to its original condition, this car is in mint condition and ready for the streets or car shows. I am the 2nd owner. The original turbo 2 car had 115k miles on it. I started immediately pulling rubberband motor and started the LS3 conversion process. Since the car was complete I have put approximately 600 or so miles on the motor to work out the kinks. (No more than 1000 miles) The car runs and drives STRONG. The steering is tight and handles like a dream. Mazda engineers designed the car to have a 50/50 weight distribution for better handling. The car is still weighted out to around 2300-2800 pounds. Car has never been driven in the rain, snow nor dirt roads and is garage kept and taken out every once in awhile on weekends only. I have built several RX7’s and other sports cars, but this once takes the cake. This car has never been dogged or driven hard. When toying around with the other racers, I never had to redline it hard. This car is very lethal on the streets and has plenty of power to spare. The car can handle more modifications but will need some wide sticky tires and some weight in the rear end. I have considered installing a Pro-Charger Kit or even NOSing it just for fun and not performance, because this car is very LETHAL as it is! This is a southern car and has never seen snow, ice or salt roads. Only clean fresh HUMID SOUTHERN AIR. NOTE: (It currently does not have Air Conditioning but all the hardware comes with the car except the compressor, I didn't want to add the extra weight and drag on the engine, even though it wouldn't slow it down any. I just don't have the time to play with her much any more.) Since I have posted these pictures, there has been more modifications done to her such as polishing aluminum, interior fix ups and engine bay cosmetics. This is the best of both worlds, Euro car mates with American muscle! MAZDAVETTE! 1988 Turbo 2 Rx7/LS3 Conversion (2,400 pound street car) A. HE IS PERSONALLY RUNNING ONE OF THESE IN HIS 73 TA THAT IS RUNNING IN THE SIXES IN THE 1/8 MILE. I have invested in this car 5 plus years of my life in research and spare no expense on doing this conversion right. I have invested in parts, paint and tools over 45k not including time and labor, I would hate to figure a price tag on that, as the commercial would say “PRICELESS”. This I must add...Bumblebee the Camaro wanted to try to transform me. A glance in my rearview mirror of a yellow and black stripped superstar raced up beside me with a loud roaring intimidating sound. The window went down and the head nod was OKed. At 50 plus the engines roared back at one another and my head hit the back out the seat with tires chirping, IT WAS ON! At the time I looked up from my Tachometer and refocus on the road I looked to see the superstar only to find him weeping in my rearview mirror. My heart was racing as fasted as my tires was spinning, hands shaking while gripping the steering wheel in total excitement. My 1st autobot run down by my MAZDATRON!!!...Later that evening we met up and chatted at a nearby cruising strip carwash hangout where everybody was trying to be somebody. With amazement in his eyes when I popped my hood the WOW factor took over and Bumblebee just became a Wannabe. The second I pulled in all eyes transformed from the Superstar to the Megastar or should I say Mazda Star. Echoes in the back ground chimed out” I’d liked to see these two hook-up”… Needless to say that battle at the OK corral had already taken place as the conversation lead to my favor and his shame in who’s the big boy on the block. I awed over the new creation on the block examined the contours then drew my attention to the scale factor, wow Bumblebee packs a total of 4,758 lbs of aggressive prettiness. The MazdaTron packs half of that…Geez…We shook hands and I thanked him for his courage and gave him an E for effort. As I drove off into the sunset my tires chirped the words “I’ll see you in the next episode or the FUNNY PAPERS! Tidbit comments to bidders…If you are a car enthusiast and like to go fast and get the looks, I can assure you that all eyes will follow you everywhere in this car. I like going to different towns and people constantly come up to me and say “Man, I have heard of this car, but never believed it.” I’ve consider putting it in Hot Rod magazines and getting more attention and I just may do that if it don’t move. As of right now she is snug as a bug in the garage with her snuggle wrapped around her. I go out and pet her often and give her the attention she needs but she needs so much more. I have left so much room for her to grow. I will gladly help the new owner with tech help and let them know the other mods I was gonna do to her. This car is A ONE OF A KIND…The other rodders are only Fast and Curious…This Machine is truly Furious! You will only appreciate this work of art much more once eyes are put on her and your foot is in the throttle. Keep in mind bidders this car is all new, The motor and drive train is all brand new…along with everything else…Price a brand new LS3 and you’ll get an ideal of a portion of the cost (that’s a stock motor not modified like this one). Imagine a brand new Corvette or Viper eater at a fraction of the cost…I guarantee if you take it to major car shows, people will pay you to admire her…Good luck, and bid with confidence not with doubt. Also I am getting question’s pouring in, don’t be afraid to shoot me a question…PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR IF YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS, I WILL REPORT NON PAYING BIDDERS AND READ THIS ADD COMPLETELY AND ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS CAR DURING THE AUCTION...Thanks Local listing as well. Right to end auction early. Please bid with confidence, will consider all reasonable offers or trades. I will consider Seadoo or Yamaha Jet Boats for trade or trade with boot... thanks On May-17-10 at 20:24:30 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME ABOUT WHAT THE RESERVE IS.THE AUCTION IS TO BE BID ON UNTIL IT IS REACHED. GOOD LUCK ON BIDDING,,,THANKS On May-18-10 at 14:44:36 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, Look, I know this is a big decision to choose between all the other sport cars out there and that the over rated third generations get a lot of attention, Well I had both and they are both nice, but LS1 swaps are a thing of the past and used motors out of this and that just seem shy when comes to comparison to this monster. You are looking at a BRAND NEW CAR basically. With a BRAND NEW 2008 completely modified engine and all the components that surround this power train is NEW FULLY RESTORED to aftermarket upgrades that came from top of the line manufactures WILL SATISFY YOUR TASTE. The car is well engineered from the best of LS builders and researchers today. RX7/V8 forums have helped build this car and the best minds in the LS swapping industries helped construct this car from the beginning. I give thanks to Brain, Grant and Mark and many, many others on this once in a life time project. I am sad to part ways from her but she must cruise other horizons. LS1 swaps in 3rd and 2nd gens today are a dime a dozen but LS3’s are the latest and greatest. I know I sound partial but I’ve been there and done them both. To whoever wins this auction will be glad this is the car that they bid on. I have owned many sport cars, supras, Ta’s, Vettes, etc.but I must say this one is the hardest one to part from. True to say this car can be main streamed in magazines, I just don’t have the time anymore to go the extra mile. Take it to any car show and I guarantee this car will place every time. Step up to the plate and bid this car fast before it gets away and if you are wondering if you have made the right decision once you won the bid, wait till you see her and drive her,,,this car will put you on PLANET PANDORA!!!!On May-27-10 at 13:41:21 PDT, seller added the following information:THE BEST BIDDING STRATEGY Last minute bidding, while exciting, can cost YOU the car that you wanted. This is why EBAY does not recommend it as a bidding strategy. They instead suggest that Members rely on the EBAY'S Proxy Bid System They paid alot to develop it - USE IT To use EBAY'S Proxy bid system simply do your research, bid the absolute maximum that you are willing to pay for the item the first time you bid and let the proxy server do the rest of the work for YOU. The computer will do all your bidding for you, but it won't just hop right on to the max amount. IT will only outbid the previous bidder by one bid increment {so if you enter $4000 and the item is at $2000 and the previous bidder has a max bid of say $2500 the item will only go up to $2550 and if you are bid against the computer bids on your behalf up to the amount you entered as your max bid also if you happen to want to bid again you can do so say $4500 but bid amount will not increase just the computer will bid higher for you.}On Jun-04-10 at 13:28:08 PDT, seller added the following information:WHEN I HAD THE CUSTOM PAINT JOB DONE LESS THAN A 6 MONTHS AGO,I HAD THEM SPRAY MUTIPLE COATS OF CLEAR. IT WAS WET SANDED AND BUFFED THE OTHER DAY AND IT REALLY LOOKS NICE. IT CAN BE SANDED AND BUFFED TWO MORE TIMES FOR A DEEPER SHINE. TOOK IT AROUND TOWN AND PEOPLE ARE AMAZED TO THE CRAFTMANSHIP.
