1957 MERCURY MONTCLAIR CONVERTIBLE- RARE OPTIONS- POWER SEAT- O-MATIC (MEMORY SEAT) POWER WINDOWS THAT WORK,POWER STEERING, POWER BRAKES,.368 TURNPIKE CRUISER V-8 ,4BBL. POWER TOP. FENDER SKIRTS, CONTINENTAL KIT. 53,000 ORIGINAL MILES. THIS WAS A FACTORY BLACK CAR THAT WAS COLOR CHANGED IN THE EARLY 70'S. I BOUGHT IT FROM A MUSEUM IN KENTUCKY. THE PREVIOUS OWNER OWNED IT TWICE. HE HAD IT FOR OVER 30 YEARS. HAVE THE ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL. I CHANGED THE POINTS, PUT IN A NEW BATTERY AND GOT IT RUNNING BY POURING GAS IN THE CARB. I BOUGHT A NEW FUEL TANK,AND PUT IT ON ,NEW LINE TOO, BUT THE FUEL PUMP IS OUT. THE MOTOR SOUNDS GOOD. I ALSO BOLTED ON A FEW SMALL CHROME ITEMS AND BOUGHT CORRECT HUB CAPS ON EBAY. THE CAR IS ALMOST RUST FREE. THE SPARE TIRE WELL IS RUSTED THRU AND THE REAR FLOOR HAS BEEN PATCHED. YOU CAN SEE ALL THIS IN MY PHOTOS. THE REST OF THE FLOORS AND BODY ARE RUST FREE AND ORIGINAL. THE CAR IS VERY STRAIGHT. THE INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE WOOD GRAIN ON THE DASH. I HAVE A GOOD TITLE . SOLD AS IS. I CAN BE CONTACTED AT 972-458-2004 PETER KRELL. THE CAR HAS NO RUST IN THE ROCKERS OR BRACES, OR WHEEL WELLS .THE ONLY RUST IS IN THE REAR FLOOR AND SPARE TIRE WELL AS MNETIONED.
