Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a 1999 Chevy Blazer with 137263 miles on it at the time of this listing. The Blazer has a remote start, CD player, cold air, cruise, power window windows and locks and Putco stainless steel running boards. It has Goodyear Tracker 2 tires with less than 15,000 miles on them. Exhuast is quiet and the 4x4 works great. It has a new front drive shaft a newer battery and alternator and a recent tune up. . All power features work except the rear wiper, it does not work. It has a dent in the right rear bumper (see photos) and a few minor scratches here and there. It has been a very dependable vehicle and the engine runs great but there is a problem with the transmission. This is what I know about it; it started acting up about 6 months ago and what it is doing is it is not shifting back into drive and overdrive correctly after it downshifts from going up a hill or stepping on it to pass another car. If you ease into it it goes down the road fine. I had a local mechanic tell me the problem was in the transmission, so he replaced it with a working used transmission and it still does the same thing. In my opinion I think there is an electrical or sensor problem but the service engine light does not come on. I'm tired of spending money on it and I don't really need it anymore. The winning bidder can have the other transmission if they want it as part of the winning bid. I'm not a mechanic but I'm sure the problem could be solved by a mechanic and you would still come out way ahead money wise. Kelly Bluebook lists this Blazer as: Excellent $4200.00 Good $3800.00 Fair $3300.00 I am starting the bidding at $900.00 because I think that would be a fair starting point as this is the least I would take for it and so that is the reserve. It will positivley sell to the highest bidder. I would like a $200.00 deposit through PayPal within 48 hours of the end of the auction and the rest in cash or paid in full through PayPal at the time it's picked up. I have the title, there is no lean on the vehicle. Local pick up only. Please feel free to ask me questions and i will try my best to answer them.
