Up for auction is my 2005 BMW K1200LT. After riding this for 2 years my wife and I have decided to try a different type of motorcycle. This is adult owned, always garaged. At present there are 21,772 miles on this beautiful touring motorcycle. I myself have done most of the minor service (oil change, transmission fluid, rear end, brake fluid). All the major service was done at the dealer. I have changed all fluids before listing (oil change, filter, transmission, rear end and brake fluid) I have been using synthetic oils for the last 8,000 miles. A new rear tire will be installed next week. Front tire is fine….So it will it will be ready for summer touring. I have never had any problem with this fine motorcycle. The only thing I needed to do was at the 12,000 mile service I had the dealer remove the K&N air filter and installed the OEM air filter. It was running a little too rough at idle and lower speeds As you can see from the photos, motorcycle is in very very nice condition. Has a few very small chips on the paint. This happens when you ride on the highway. This K1200LT has just about every add-on option you can imagine: REMUS TITANIUM Header and complete pipe and muffler, ilium front floorboards, ilium extended brake lever, ilium shift lever, PIAA lamps with switch on handlebars, BMW Motorrrad Navigator III, (was returned to manufacture for repair 3-2007-- Have the receipt. Gamin replaced it with a new one.) Has entire GPS accessories: remote, bean bag to use it in the car, ac adaptor, cover for the front of the GPS, locking tool to keep the GPS locked in the mount, manuals. This GPS is blue tooth. Can be updated thru the USB port in the rear of unit. Have the USB cable included along with unopened CITY Nav setup and map data CD. BMW J-PEGS for the long rides on the highway. Has all the factory manuals for the motorcycle, 4- keys, 2-remotes. Other factory options include the 6 disc CD changer in the right side bag. This model has all the other features found on the K1200LT, cruise control, AM/FM Stereo w/ Single CD player, Alarm w/ 2 remotes, Electric reverse, Electric center stand, heated hand grips, ABS brakes, electric wind shield etc…. it does not have the heated seats. I purchased this motorcycle from the owner in FL and I live in Texas and really have not required heated seats. The wiring and plugs are under the seat, if someone would like to add heated seats. I think most people reading this auction know about the quality and comfort that BMW has put into this world class touring motorcycle. Color is called Champagne or Gold. I think it adds an extra touch of class to the motorcycle. I currently have this financed thru my credit union. There is a balance on the loan. This can be handled very easy. You can either have your bank or credit union contact mine. Or just have bank draft when picking up the bike. My Credit union will send you or your bank the title. Stock power on the K1200LT is around 120 hp. With the Remus header pipe and muffler it adds about 5-8 more hp.This most likely will be the last year BMW is making this model. BMW has a new model coming out to replace the K1200LT.
