Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1973 Cadillac Coupe Deville. This was a one family owned car until I bought the it about 4 years ago. I had remembered the car from many years ago and it was a really nice puff. But the owners lost storage and had it parked on a cement pad covered with tarps for several years. I talked them into letting me buy it and bring back to its glory days but I can see at my age this project is never going to happen. So Im going to put it on Ebay and let its faith rest in sombody elses hands. This car runs perfect, shifts perfect and goes down the road like a 73 Caddy. Up until this year I was kinda using as a second car which keep fresh gas and oil in it. I feel the running the running gear is where the value is on this car. If somebody has a Conv or nice 2dr HT and they have a running gear problem this is there answer. All this motor and transmission need is a cleanup and to be painted and installed in there car. Or maybe somebody out there is looking for a big block motor (472ci) and dont want to spend a fortune here is a perfect running gear with some brute power. The body on "Big Bertha" is guite solid , the real only rusted areas are right on the rear end of the vinyl roof around the rear window. And there is some rust inside the trunk lid by the rear lip, the outside of the lid looks great. All power windows, power steering, power brakes, power seat and pwr antenna work great, Radio and heat work, AC is not working at this time. Three years ago I installed a new alternator, starter solinoid, smog pump, battery, water pump, full tune up, all belts, new antifrezze, and 4 Radial white wall tires, I may have put 1200-1300 miles since than. Also brake and exhaust work. And a couple of oil and filters since than. Im confident that this car would drive cross country with no failures. Also want to mention, the doors panels and dash have no cracks in them, they are excellent, talk about rare. Thats always a sore spot when restoring a car. This car would need a full restoration to bing it back to its full glory or a paint job would sure help its appearance. I have bought many parts to assist in tis restoration but this sale does not include them, however if the buyer wants to buy the stuff we can get together and make a deal. If car does not meet my small reserve I will be open to parting out the car, let me know your needs, I will keep a list and maybe we can make a deal on the different parts. Any questions let me know, also I could take more pictures but I feel what I have taken should be adequate. Any bidders with zero feedback get back to me first, I need no more deadbeats Ive been thru that stuff. Bidding is a contract to own if you are the high bidder and reserve is met. You will own the item and payment is expected. At close of bidding 300.00 is required in my paypal account or or other arrangements are made And the remainder within 7 days. I will also sell to overseas but winnder bidder is responsible for all transportation cost. I will assist at this end to load onto carrier. So anyways bid to save "Bid Bertha", I really dont want to part her out, they are not making cars like this anymore . Thanks for reading.
