1996 Camaro Convertible RS Hi, this is a great car. Car gets compliments all the time. Looks and drives great. Gets great MPG, averages between 23-26 depending on traffic. About 7 months ago the engine was replaced and at that time several other items were also replaced. The engine only has about 48k. Not long after the engine was replaced the a/c was also done and the a/c does blow nice and cold. About two weeks ago I had the transmission serviced to the tune of about $275. I have receipts for all the work. I drive the camaro every day so the miles will reflect being driven. I drive about 200 miles a day so as you can imagine I cant risk breaking down. My point is that this car is very sound mechanically, I would drive anywhere with out worry. The top works good and does not leak. The car does have some minor dings and scratches consistent with being used for 14 years but looks great. I do have seat covers for the front seats that look good. The passenger window will need a new motor and the driver is tired. This is fairly common for these camaros, they are listed on ebay for anywhere from 120-165 for both motors and regulators. Again does not bother me, the driver still goes up and down and when the top is down I really dont want the passenger window down. Again fairly minor problems.
