One of a kind 1952 Studebaker Custom Roadster. This car started as a rust free 2 door champion sedan, and has now been transformed into a 1 off custom cruiser. The top was carfully removed along with all side window glass, regulators etc. All areas that were cut are capped, and welded in with 16ga. steel ( I have photos to document all of this work). The front bumper, and grill were removed and replaced with a smoothed front valance, and custom formed bumper. Rocker panels have been boxed, and frame reinforced to eliminate any body flex due to removal of roof. The car was painted deep ruby metallic (2008 Chevy Truck Color), and the paint finish is outstanding. This car was awarded top 50 out of over 1000 entries at a car show last summer. The drivetrain is original 6 cyl. flathead with 3 on the tree, and the engine compartment is nicely detailed. The car runs and drives as it did in 1952. I spent over $5000 on the hand sewn custom interior and it shows. Wheels and tires are new from Coker. This car turns heads, and generates a thousand questions wherever it travels. If you don't want to be noticed, this is not a car for you!
