Vehicle Detail
Will look at all trades of equal value send pictures and info to trmclain@comcast.net This is a Rare 1957 Ford 2DR Del Rio Station Wagon with clear title its was origional purchased from Alamaba. I just finished this car and its ready to cruise and I have been driving the Sh##t out of it the engine is a Ford 302, New HEI Ignition , 600 Edelbrock Carb, Real Nostalgia Edelbrock Valve Covers ,Aluminum Intake, Headers, C4 Automatic Trans, New Wide White BFG Radials, 15X7 15X5 Smoothie's , Fresh Drive Train 20,000 Miles no smoke no funny noises Runs great, 9" Ford 308 gears , Lokar Nostalgia Shifter, Cd Stereo, Body and Paint are still very nice paint has to be around 7 years old still looks good the worst part is a dime hole on the lower drivers rocker quarters and panels are perfect every thing else is rock solid the drivers floor was patched at one time as well as the passenger rear floor supports are solid as well as tail gate if you know any thing about wagons the tail gate would rust out first and this one is very solid with no rust I would rate the body and paint a 7.5, - 10 being show condition. This Wagon is a true driver not a trailer queen this was built to cruise rides like a dream This car sits right and looks right It was lowered properly with spindles and springs / lowering blocks in the rear then it had a 4 wheel alignment to my specs. I used to be a ASE Automotive technician for 25 years. I would not be afraid to drive this car cross country it is not a rust bucket the paint job is a 10 footer it does have some minor bubbles .It has No Heat and No AC .All lights and turn signals work I have the new Glass that needs to be replaced in sliding windows.I have been driving it to shows every where MO, WI, IA, OH,it does not over heat starts every time runs like a top and is a crowd pleaser where ever I go . The only reason I am selling is I do not need a family wagon any longer kids are all grown up and they go to shows in their own cars now so its time to move on. I will also look at possible trades. Its not a show car and by all means its not perfect one thing you can be sure of is my honesty in describing this car it goes go down the road very nice and it does have the look that is what was important to me if your looking for perfection at this price keep moving on this is a fun car a driver I dont care about the little things I get thumbs up every where I go . I cant even drive to grocery store with out people talking to me about the car . If the car does not sell or trade after this auction it is going to http://www.msra.com/BackToThe50s.htm It will sell or trade their.
