hello! this a restorable but definitley a project 65 comet caliente convertible. many good points, also bad points, but a true 289-4bbl 4 speed black with red interior car. no motor or trans. the car has been cut in places to accept a big block c6 at one point. check tunnel area and shock towers, plus hood.. there is also some crude attempts at strengthining the frame rails that can be easily removed. please do not mistake this for rot replacement. while not perfect underneath its pretty solid in the important areas. the entire front clip and front rail areas are very nice. the torque box areas are solid with the outer shielding having some rot spots. the floor pans are spotty, left rear has been replaced, solid but a little crude. underneath the rear seat left and right has rust out. rear frame rails, shock area, shackles very solid. trunk very good. it has had a full quarter long ago on the passenger side. the outer body is pretty darn good all the way around except the drivers lower quarter. nice wheel wells and rockers. the original interior is very respectable. the door panels are bad but they are in the trunk with the trim. i beleive every piece of outer trim is accounted for and good or restorable condition. the top still works well and the header has no rot! missing parts i have seen are the radio and horn ring but surely there is more. check the pics of parts. the clutch pedals and frame bracket are there no z bar. still has the original power steering. glass is very good also, rh front track is off. cant think of much else please ask, dont mind questions or photos. come look! i will not stop an auction again,either bid to the reserve or buy it now.if not coming the next day with cash i excpect a deposit by paypal. not looking for trades. lots of work here but great motor trans and color combonation. thanks!
