1984 Toyota Camry Turbo Diesel for parts or repair. I purchased this vehicle in 2000 and drove it between San Diego Ca. and Prescott, AZ. Vehicle had great power and got 45 to 50 MPG of diesel. Vehicle developed intermittent overheating issue, and was stored while I used other vehicles. Vehicle was started and moved around thru 2009, and then dollied in 2010 to my brother in Veyo, Utah, for possible repair. He started and drove vehicle aprox 10 miles, with no overheating issues, but found that it had a large amount of blow-by.Upon removing the cylinder head, he found 1 cylinder had substantial rust and pitting, apparently from setting for a long length of time. That would explain the excessive blow-by. He also found numerous cracks in the cylinder head, which would have caused the overheating problems. Vehicle could be repaired, or used for parts. In current condition, vehicle is not operable, or driveable, as the cylinder head has been removed. Pictures show current condition of vehicle. Vehicle must be picked up in Vail, Utah, (approximately 20 miles from St. George, Utah.) Please contact me to make arrangements to pick up vehicle.
