History: This car is a model year 2000 Lexus ES300 luxury sedan with a clear title and no liens. I have owned the car since 2004. I am the second owner, the original owner was a relative who took immaculate care of it. The car has never had major engine trouble. The car has never been in a serious accident and the chasis and frame have never been damaged or altered in any way. The car was involved in a minor fender bender in 2008 which resulted in a small dent and one broken headlight. This was professionally repaired by a body shop. The car has always been 100% smoke free. The car has just been professionally detailed and looks great. Features: Powertrain: 3.0-liter V6 engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, traction control. Safety: Dual front airbags, front side-airbags, antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, automatic headlights, 5 seatbelts (all shoulder belt type). Convenience & Other Features: (all factory original): Leather trimmed upholstery, wood-grain interior trim, am/fm/casette/6-cd changer (cartridge type, in glove box), air conditioning w/automatic climate control, heated front seats, variable-assist power steering, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power front bucket seats with memory for driver’s seat, rear seat trunk pass-through, front console, eye glasses holder, front and rear cupholders, power mirrors, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, Two 12v power sockets (1 in dash, 1 in console), digital clock, outside-temperature indicator, front and rear defogger, variable intermittent wipers, illuminated visor mirrors, remote fuel-door and decklid releases, first-aid kit, theft-deterrent/alarm system, alloy wheels, full-size spare tire, universal garage door opener, security wheel bolts with keys. Condition: Enginge: The engine is in excellent condition and runs smooth and quiet with no performance issues. It has never had a major problem. It has been serviced at a Lexus dealer since I have owned it and all services recommended by the dealer were performed. The car just passed NY State inspection in March 2010. Within the last 3 years, the timing belt, brake pads and rotors, water pump and drive belts and tires have all been replaced. All systems including electric, climate control and stereo work perfectly. Body & Cosmetic. The car has number of cosmetic flaws & issues, most are very minor, the result of street parking and normal wear for a car of this age. None effect performance, so rather than getting all these things fixed to sell for a higher price, I’m setting a lower reserve so you can choose to fix or change the things that are important to you. Here is a detailed list of everything I can find that is wrong with this car, most are also depicted in the photos. The front grille below the bumper has visible cracks and scrapes, the result of scraping the top of some frozen snow while parking. This is a plastic part and no rust is visible. There are also some orange splatter stains on this grill. There is a small scrape and minor dent, approx 2 inches long on the right side panel next to the hood. There are some scratches on the hood – they are not very noticeable until you get close. They are some very small paint chips in various places - most are on the hood. They are not very noticable until you are up close Color-matched, after market bumper pads have been attached to the front and rear bumpers. There is some excess adhesive around the edges which has darkened and is visible. I am not sure if these pads or adhesive can be removed, I have not tried. There are some small scrapes, scuffs and nicks on the front and rear bumpers. There are some small scrapes and nicks on the leading edge of the side view mirror assemblies (the mirrors themselves are fine). The front passengers power lock switch cover has become detached. The cover is not broken, but I can’t seem to re-attach it. The switch itself still works. Note: this is the switch that locks/unlocks all the doors, the passenger can lock/unlock their own door with a separate lever. There is a little bit of paint bubbling & peeling on each of the tire rims. 3 of the floor mats are missing – the drivers and both back seat mats. They were removed for cleaning and misplaced in my basement. If I can find them I will update the auction. There is a worn spot on the floor upholstery in the drivers footwell near the pedals. The car originally had auto-dimming on all three mirrors. Currently the driver's side mirror dimming does not work. Note - for this reason I do not list this as a feature at all. There are small stains on the carpet of the left backseat footwell. The 12v socket in the dash came loose and had to be glued in place. Some clear excess glue is visible. The socket works fine. There are small tears on the back seat speaker covers. Something spilled on the owner's manual and it is stained. A few pages stuck together, I've seperated most of them and it is usable.
