Vehicle Detail
This is a relisting from a scammer buyer for the third time. I do not feel I am asking a lot for this truck. The blue book values for private party are good condition $3415 and $3090 in fair condition, and this is without a veg oil kit! If you want a cheap worn out diesel go with a chevy or ford. This truck has 200,000 more miles left in it. If you have no feed back and/or are new contact be prior to bidding. 1990 dodge 250 with the 5.9 Cummins diesel straight six. Options: A/C, power windows, auto trans, tow package, block heater, tilt wheel, CD player(aftermarket). 295,xxxmiles. This truck has only ever had Rotella T in it. This truck has been great. It has never given me starting problems. It has never hesitated to move or haul anything. The truck has the first generation Cummins that is bulletproof. I’ve never gotten worse than 17mpg and have gotten as good as 22mpg. Truck comes with tail gate (not pictured) and Delta tool boxs Needs a brake vacuum pump and could use a new steering pump soon. Heater control module was recently rebuilt - unsure how long this will last. Body is rough with a large dent behind the passenger wheel. Besdies general scratchs and rust for a 20 year pickup. Worst rust is around the rear wheel-wells. Light surface rust on frame. Odometer does not work - stopped at approx 285,000 - no surprise for a 20 year old truck. I keep track of how many gallons I put in and change the oil based off of worst case milage. The truck has new tires, front tie rods, front center link, front ball joints (all four), front shocks, front springs, front brakes, all four 10ply tires, alternator, serpentine belt Have replaced in last two years; exhaust – straight pipe out the passenger side, fan clutch, fan pulley, rear shocks, fuel filter, all U joints, cylinder head gaskets, crown commercial battery ( has single which was factory) I would not hesitate to drive this coast to coast in present condition. Truck comes with misc extra tools specific to dodge truck and filter equipment. This truck has a greasecar vegetable oil fuel kit with 40 gal tank. Im not saying you could drive for free but you could certainly save a lot of fuel money with this truck. The truck has seen approximately 5 tank full’s of veg oil as I lost my source of oil and space for filtering. I also no longer drive the distance to support veg oil driving and am getting a small car to replace this truck. Hate to see it go but I don’t have the parking room. Clear Ohio title. The mileage is 295,XXX. I’m not sure what options where available when I bought the kit. It is the 40 gal tank with heated fuel filter and two 3 way valves. Inside there is a three way switch, temp sensor and fuel gauge. The only heat exchanger is in the tank. This kit DOES NOT have an additional flat plate heat exchanger or co-pilot. Q: Actually (5) five questions Auto check indicates accident(s) ??? Auto Check indicates "Duplicate Title" Was the dup ttl issued to "upgrade" from SALVAGE TITLE ???? How bad did the USED FRYER OIL MESS UP THE MOTOR ? Has any fuel other than fry oil or Diesel ever been run through this vehicle ????? I have no knowledge of the accidents. From the autocheck that was in 1992 – 18 years ago. The truck has shown no signs of accident damage in my 5 years of ownership. The duplicate title was from a lost title. The used oil didn’t harm the engine in any way. I believe a bit of kerosene was in the diesel tank at one time by accident. The greasecar tank has only ever had veg oil in it.
