up for auction is a 1969 pontiac GTO tribute/clone... It would take three to four times my starting bid to even come to repruduce this car. It has been restored inside and out. Factory Midnight Green meta dupont base clear coat paint. The paint is DEEP. you can see in into it like a mirror. The car was painted while dissasembled. New rear quarters, new rocker panels professionally installed.hole car was dissasembled, taken down to bare metalfor paint and body restore. floor and trunk are rock solid... NO RUST.. body is laser straight. Brand new interior- pearl parchment front and rear door panels, new headliners, windsails, visors and package tray and headline covers professionally installed. over $750 invested in just installing these items. Front bucket seats are good as an everday driver but would have to be replaced for show car: rear seathas new upholstery. Carpet was cut a little short at door sill plate. Dog house and trunk area all has new foil backed heat sound deadner. Needs some finishing chrome bezel knobs on the dash and rear arm rests ($50- on ebay).. all new rubber on car and window fuzzies. nesw tinted front windshield. car has alpine cd player in glove boxand polk 6x9 speakers in the back. the dash is unmolested. you could put original radio back in. Has tack mounted where factory clock was in the dash. Don't see many dashes that havnt been cut up. Brand new dash cover. the car has a lot of little expensive chrome peices like factory door edge guards, rear deck lid trim, fender wall molding. Items like that are hard to find and costly. powertrain: 455 rebuilt lesss than 1000 miles on motor: ram air IV spec cam, eldenbrock performance aluminunm intake: holly 4BL 850 cfm carb; roller rockers; #16 big valve heads - ported and polished with stainless steel valves, valve guides and seats : forged pistons;10/1 compression. built 350 turbo tranny with stall; 12 bolt posi rear end with 3:73 gear; 4 into 1 headers ; dual exhaust; B&M racing shifter ; aluminum high flow water pump from Jeggs. Brand new battery and altenator. Power steering, and drum brakes. Motor has only been run on synthetic oil. I am very serious when i say this car is strong. Dynoed at 400 plus horse at the rear wheels. Car has a new complete - front to rear, engine, intermediate rear tail light harness's. new dash curcuit board. New gas tank with fuel sending unit. New Holly high perf fuel pump. there is a small fortune in these parts alone. try and see what a 455 big block a set of # 16 headers and a fresh 12 bolt posi goes for and then go through it all. A LLOT of time invested there> my lose is your gain. Suspension: everything under the front end is rebuilt with items from PST . from center link to tie rod ends, ball gear box, ect... with polygraphite bushings. New shocks, new springs front and back; power drum brakes and all new brakelines; brakes totally gone through with new cylinders, springs and pads. Creager 15x8 rims with firestone Tires- less than 1000 miles This car is a very nice driver with real potential to be a show car with little investment. because of car's age, it is being sold as is with no warranty.
