Welcome to my sale! Up for auction I have a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT V6. This vehicle has provided me with years of reliable transportation (We named it "Rely" for reliable). I have driven it throughout the south including South Carolina, Florida, and as far west as Texas. The only major issue I've had, I had to replace the transmission back in 2004. Had it done by a Ford dealership to ensure it was done right. Other than that, this is my everyday transportation beater car to and from work. The positives are: -A/C. -Power Windows / Doors. -Automatic Transmission. -AM/FM CD player. -Clean interior, good headliner. -Chrome side step bars. -Alloy Wheels. -Cheap affordable transportation with plenty of cargo room. -Great opportunity for a first car. Check out the pics. I've tried to keep the car as clean and trouble free as possible, but of course as things get older they tend to wear. Remember this is a USED vehicle, Sold AS IS! The following are the things I know to be wrong with the vehicle: -Winshield has a crack in the upper left corner (not spreading), also a chip on the front which I filled with a resin mix to prevent spreading. -Driver door handle has a spring that must have come loose inside making door handle feel loose, but door opens and closes fine. -Hood must be propped open w/stick when servicing vehicle. -Odometer stopped working last June at 213475. I estimate on the high side 20,000 miles usage this last year, which is why I list mileage @ 233475. -Left rear passenger side has a scrape above the wheel well, not very noticeable but it's there. -The temperature blend door in the vehicle is broken (a known explorer issue) regulates the cabin air in the vehicle, but a/c still blows cold in summer and warm heat in winter. -On the steering wheel, the black tape covering of the cruise buttons has worn off. This vehicle is being sold locally for $1900 and auction may end at any time. Once again, this is a USED vehicle and being sold "AS IS".
