POWER TOP, MILDLY 327, TORQUE THRUST II'S, A BEAUTIFUL WORK OF MOVING ART! Imagine a nice warm evening, cruising by the lake with your top down in your 1955 Belair Convertible. What we have is a very clean 1955 which has under went one full frame off restoration. It has been garaged since being restored and has rarely seen the light of day. This is a very rare opportunity where someone will be able to obtain an extremely nice Belair Convertible with out having to spend six digits. If interested, please call Shawn at 816.308.0351. Body: The body on this Belair is completely straight and solid. There is absolutely no rust through out the floors, quarters, trunk, frame rails, fenders, wheel wells, rear sill, cowl, rockers, and valance. It is totally solid and you can see quite clearly that the sheet metal work, when done, was done professionally. The paint as you will notice was done in a base coat clear coat. It shines out beautifully and was also done professionally. The chrome and stainless through out the Belair was also redone when she was restored. It all shines up beautifully and looks really stunning when the Sun hits it. The Belair also received all new weather stripping when it was gone through. The doors and trunk all open and shut with ease. The windows also were redone, they move up and down with zero problems. The vinyl top on the Belair is also new and has no major blemishes, stains, or tears. The entire structure for the convertible top has been chromed which was very costly. It shines up beautifully. The set of Torque Thrust II's that are currently on the Belair are brand new as are the tires. They are in excellent condition. Engine & Mechanical: The motor within this Belair was fully rebuilt when the car was redone. It is a 327 from a 1962 Chevrolet. It does not smoke, leak, or burn an excess amount of fluid. It is in excellent working order and is completely turn key. The two speed Powerglide is out of a 1957 Belair and it too was completely rebuilt. It does not leak or burn an excess amount of fluid. It shifts smoothly through out all of its gears. Both the motor and transmission have only 5,774 miles on them since the Belair was restored. The power top was also redone and works flawlessly. I also have a power steering setup for the car which I will be including with it. All of the electrical components were totally redone and are in good working order. The turn signals, brake lights, head lights, wiper blades, raido, everything works flawlessly which you are welcome to view by watching the videos located below. Interior: The interior as you will see has been completely gone through. The seats and door panels have been customized and are in great shape. The entire dash and gauge cluster was completely gone through. The trunk area was actually redone to match the interior of the car. I can tell you from my own experience, you couldn't come close to building this car for what we are asking. I will gladly listen to all reasonable offers and should the right one come along then I will in fact sell the car early as we do have it for sale "locally".
