Great Father Son Project !!! NO RESERVE High bidder owns it !! Rare 1984 Mercedes 280SL, Six cylinder Five Speed, runs and drives, But Needs a tune up and the clutch slips so BRING A TRAILER. The body is fairly solid, the drivers floor was bad, it's been fixed with sheet metal. Years ago a lady took a ball pen hammer to the car (mad at hubby) the glass was replaced and a body shop repaired the dings (bad Job) and the ding in the bumpers are still there, paint is faded, looks better in the pictures than in person. Interior is just fair. These cars are hard to find (280SL) Lot's of 380's and 450's. I have driven this car and it drives really nice, AC will need serviced, power windows work, Soft top frame is good, top is bad, hard top is good, but back window has a crack. The VIN number is listed at bottom of this page, this is a EURO CAR, never sold in the US, was shipped in years ago by a private party. The vin listed by EBAY is not this car. The engine is inline six cylinder and the Transmission is a manuel five speed.
