ok here we go... this was my Dads car he bought it back in the 80s with the intent to restore it . In the 90s he sold it and when the guy was comming over to pick it up he asked if he would put it out frount for him. my Dad said no prob. this guy was picking up a 65 ford conv. as well as the caddy. when Dad pulled the caddy out took it around the block and put it back in the shed and said not for sale... well pop died in Oct of 08 and we were tring to deside what to do with all his toys. this is what I know, the car is all orignal he was the 2nd owner. the gas gauge does not work. bad ground? it did work when he first got it. all windows work as well as the top. the air does not work other than that everything else does. I think. the car runs great... shifts fine and drives ok. its been in storage as long as he owened it. don't think he put 1000 miles on it since he bought it. I took it for a ride last Sept. and it was fun. think the shocks seen better days. it has some rust on it and a few dents in the bumper corner. The good news. Dad has most of the parts to put this thing together. he had friends in the junk yard business. so lots of stuff goes with this car like fenders, bumper corners, another top, skirts, and a bunch of other things I need to find. it will all go with the car I have no need for it, need the room. ask questions if you have them I will try to answer them best I can. the car is very dusty. it is all gravel roads and sand here. it has not been washed before it was put away. this car should be checked out before it is taken on any long distance runs. it has been stored longer than it has been driven. I would bring a dolly or something to tow it. when I took it out we never went over 60 and only went about 20 miles. it did do great but you never know. it is for sale locally and reserve the rite to end the auction at any time unless the reserve is met. this car is sold as is. where is you must come and pick it up. no shiping unless you get it set up.
