Vehicle Detail

Due to unfortunate circumstances, I am selling my 1991 mustang project car with a 4cyl auto to 8 cyl. 347 stroker motor conversion. My reserve price is tremendously fair and far less than I have spent even in the pas two years. Car has primarily been a weekend and occaional leisure driving. Has very little milage on rebuild. The most recent work done includes. Milage EXCEEDS odometer reading for chasis. But motor/transmission has less than 10,000 miles on it. Rear end has less than 5,000 - Ram air hood scoop and K&N xtreme air filter - New tints, new door and trunk seals, new door lock actuators - 3g alternator conversion Other mods which have been done over time include -302 roller block hot tanked, bored .030 w/ torque plates, deck milled to bring piston to zero deck new clevite 77 bearings throughout, new freeze plugs, and arp bolts throughout as well (all machine work done by strteet and strip machine shop) - rotating assembly includes a scat 9000 series 3.4 stroke cast crank, scat I beam forged rods, probe pistons with standard and T/W valve reliefs, total seal file fit ( done by street and strip) plasma moly piston rings ( NOT gapless though)...everything is fully balanced to 28 oz. with an SFI rated harmonic balancer and a Mcleod billet flywheel - cylinder heads are trick flow T/W that were purchased used, had a valve job and new seals/springs (as per recommended by ed) installed and milled for a fresh surface....all done to the tune of of 450$ also done by street and strip...cometic head gaskets used alon with 1.6 scorpion roller rockers ( properly adjusted but still a little bit noisy) - the camshaft is an FTI custom grind piece with street performance i mind (5408, 5440 228 232 EX INT with 1.6 scorpion roller rockers), all specifications were given to ed @ FTI before hand and only one change was made to what I had told him ( I didnt go long tube headers for budget reasons) - the intake is a Vic Jr. with no port work or anything like that done to it, plain and simple - carb is a demon 650 double pumper....fed by a holley mech pump and all bradied stainless fuel line - headers are FRPP shorties desinged for the GTP heads which I grabbed from another project I had in the works...this is THE bottle neck if there is one, reaminder of the exhaust includes all madrel bent 2.5 in x pipe, flowmaster 2 chambers and 2.5 in tips ( all aluminized) - ignition inclueds MSD 6 AL with a blaster 3 coil and an MSD billet distributor - all accessories are eliminated with the exception of the alernator (3g conversion) and the water pump (which is converted to STD rotation) meaning no PS, steering is tight though as I have a new rag joint in there - radiator is a summit 3 core alum piece. fan is a flex a lite mech. driven car runs right at the 185 t-stat temp and rarely gets up to about 200 on a hot day and will cool right back down when it does get up that high - the brakes are in good working order but I STRONGLY suggest upgrading as there are completly inadequate ( would have been my next project)and as the VIC JR does not have a vac provision and I didnt have room for a spacer the brakes are currently not with power assist...I can remedy this for you if you like -clutch is a new king cobra with a steeda firewall adjuster and alum quadrant -tranny is a rebuilt borg warner T-5 with a pro 5.0 shifter on it, on occasion it grinds 5th on a fast shift....Transmission also has a bad whine :/ -Driveshaftis a FRPP alum which has no balance issues - rear end is an 8.8 taken from a donor car and rebuilt with 3.73 gears by south florida performance - rims are the stock 10 holes with 225 55 15 in the front and will let em loose with ease in 1st and second if not careful and strongly consider replacement - suspension and chassis mods include motor sport "c" springs, tubular rear upper and lower control arms from JD performance, and HP performance subframe connectors -paint job is a year old dupont lieftime warranty painted the oem color ny New life auto and paint that I am really pleased with...car has new headlights, and new door window moldings - interior is a work in progress ....window motors work, door lock actuators are brand new, car has auto meter monster tach, and water temp oil press guage (recently upgraded from mech. to electrical) - a few other odds and ends off the top of my head include the 7 qt milodon oil pan and hi vol pump, motorsport tall aluminum valve covers, taylor ignition wires, and energy suspension poly engine mount and tranny cross member bushings as you can see I have spent COUNTLESS thousands on this car and put alot of blood and sweat into it as well, so i am not letting it go for anything less than a car of this stature is deserving.
