Honda QA50 Mini-Bike I'm doing some remodeling at my house and it's time to clear out the garage. What we have here is a Honda QA50 that does not presently run. Well, let me qualify that - it ran last summer, but was smoking, leaking oil and was hard to shift. I'm working on another monkey bike project and just don't have the time to fix this one. In addition to the engine issues described above, the throttle cable and throttle grip are missing. I bought aftermarket replacements, but I am not sure if they will work with this bike. If you are the winning bidder, I will include the throttle cable and grip anyway. You will probably also need to replace the spark plug wire since it is taped up at the moment. I will also include a photocopied shop manual. I don't know much about this bike since I bought it a few years back. I have no idea on the mileage since there is no odometer. Anyway, if you are viewing this listing you probably already know about the QA50, but I will give you as much info as I can. The Honda QA50 was built for sale from 1970 to 1975. It was similar to the Z50 in size, but the wheels were "fatter." It came in three colors: Gypsy Yellow, Sprout Green, and Scarlet Red. The fuel tank is surrounded by a black rubber molding. The fenders have no stripes and are colored the same as the fuel tank. The front forks and frame are a dark gray. The engine is a single cylinder OHV displacing 49cc. The Transmission is a 2-speed with an automatic clutch. I WILL NOT SHIP THIS BIKE. Local pickup or I can deliver within 15 miles of Chardon, Ohio. That's about it - this mini-bike comes "as is" and should be considered a project bike because of the engine issues.
