Lets start by stating the obvious, this is a project or parts car, It has had the same owner since 1987. The car was painted once but there were no accidents since the current owner has had the car. The car is located in St. Petersburg Florida and ready for pick up. I was told that this is a 1985 1/2, meaning it has all of the upgrades that the 86 had. I would suggest that you check the VIN# to verify that. The mileage showing on the odometer is 95,463 and I can only assume thats a 195K and you should bid based on that information! I was however amazed at how straight this car is, the doors are not dinged up, the sides are straight and there is no rust on the car. The paint however is gone, the leather is pretty much history and will need to be replaced. The door panels are in very good condition as well as the carpet. The head liner is in good shape and I dont remember any problems with the dash. There is no radio and there is a piece of the steering wheel missing, other than that the car is all there. It does have a slight bend in the rear bumper, but an easy repair, you will see this in the photos! The car has been started every few months and driven around the block, its been in covered parking for the last two years. You will need to bring a truck to pick it up. The clutch is good, it does run, all the glass is pretty good, the wheels do need to be repainted, but they are not skinned up nor do they have curb rash on them. Overall this car could be restored and make someone a pretty good driver or a great race car.
