Up for your bid consideration is a 1981 PONTIAC TRANS AM with T- TOPS. This car runs and drives. It has a 455 v-8 with a 400 turbo automatic transmission. I believe it is not original. The vehicle comes with the factory options of PS, PB, PW, Tilt wheel, power trunk lock, A/C (needs belt). It has the original factory honeycomb wheels with a pair of like new Futura 295/50/15 on the rear. The car has a nice solid body (there is a small rust spot on the lower part of the right front fender). Has some surface rust , mostly where decals were. The quarter panels appear to be solid as well as the floor pan and trunk. The doors are solid. The nose and grille are in great shape. It has the shaker hood with scoop. The interior is black and is in excellent condition. There are no tears in the rear seat, the passenger bucket seat is in great shape and the drivers side only has a seam tear in the bottom part. The carpet is nice, the console is in good shape, the dash is cracked, which is normal for these cars. It does have a dash cover on it. The door panels are in good shape. Has the factory original radio. The chrome exhaust tips and the t-top bags are in the trunk, along with the original spare and jack. The guy I got the car from said the engine had a complete rebuild, I cannot guarantee this, I can only go by his word. He was going to restore the car but was not able. I thought about keeping the car and restoring it , but I do not have the time myself. This vehicle is a nice one to restore, it has a lot of potential. They are getting hard to find in good shape.
