Up for Auction is a 2000 Mercedes Benz CLK, V8, convertible which I am selling for a friend as a PARTS CAR. The car has 199,000 miles and is currently not in drivable condition. This car has all the wear and tear of a high mileage vehicle and we came to the decision to list the car as a parts car after it was diagnosed to need a timing chain replacement. Here are some of the issues that the car has: Engine also has an extensive oil leak Needs a front and rear brake job Passenger window motor not working properly Front bumper cover is damaged and needs replacement Will need a set of tires soon The Good: Car has never had a collision and all body panels are in good condition other then minimal scratches. Interior and leather seats are in good condition (however needs a cleaning) Convertible top completely functional All glass, head lights, taillights, and mirrors in good condition As mentioned, this car is listed as a Parts Car and is to be sold "As is."
