for sale is my 1977 honda cb 750 a. 19,733 miles this is a rare bike only made for a few years (76(?)-78). it has an automatic transmission. no clutch. the foot-shifter switches between neutral, low gear (takes you from 0 - 60 mph) and high gear (over 60 mph). basically just give it gas and go like an automatic car! it is a very smooth ride with a cushy seat and lots of shocks. it comes with an extra transmission and torque converter (what replaces the need for a clutch). many of the parts or interchangable with other cb's, but due to the rareity of the transmission, i bought an extra one, just in case. those pieces came off a bike with 17XXX miles on it and show no signs of wear. also included is the user manual and shop guide (complete tear-down manual). electric start and kick start. kick lever is stowed under seat for emergency starts. right now the battery is about on its last leg, but starts on the first try and will kick start without any juice. new headlight, front turn signals, ignition, chain, plugs, horn, and seat cover (custom embroidered). just had the carbs/jets/etc. gone through and cleaned out and parts replaced last summer. tires are good. this is a tall bike. the seat is 34" high. i am about 6'2" and it fits me great. if you are more like 5'2", you might be on your tippy-toes and need something lower. this bike is 33 years old, but has been cared for. by no means is it in show-room shape, but it looks close enough from about 10 feet away, and runs like a dream. i am selling this bike because i have 2 motorcycles and a baby on the way. i need to trade in some of my toys for baby toys. buyer is responsible for pickup. no shipping.
