Vehicle Detail
The 1987 Buick Grand Nationals were the automotive highlight of the 80's and Buick was a dominant force in the NASCAR Busch Series (ah the good ol' days) ! While the Turbo charged v6's were lighting up the streets a tamer version by Buick was available, the 1987 Buick LeSabre T type. I purchased this car to compliment my Turbo Limited Regal and while I'd like to keep it I've run out of storage space and something has to go. Brought to Michigan from the dry south this car is in amazing condition retaining almost every bit of its original paint and the VIN on every body panel but a fender (and I believe it was removed as evidence of where it was is visible). These cars were very susceptible to rust in some key areas and this car has lived a charmed life and has escaped the great threat. The underside is in amazing condition as the rest of the car is as well. There are two small surface rust issues on the entire car. Located on each side at the bottom of the doors located on the rocker seam where the rear fender joins it (pictures are available). It is a great running car that tracks down the road very nice all lights work, brakes are good, no smoking or leaks from the car at all. The a/c needs either a recharge or compressor (didn't bother to mess with it for as little as I drive any of my cars), the gas gauge is stuck on full (perfect for the optimist) and the headliner needs to be replaced. Those really identify all the issues the car has and none of these are a big fix. I also installed a new aluminum radiator to keep things cool. I've decided to list this car with NO RESERVE high bidder when it's all over gets to either pick it up or have it delivered to their doorstep. IF however, you have a feedback rating lower than 10 you must make contact with me or your bid will be canceled. I'm easy going but after the last three times being burned I've got to maintain some semblance of structure here. Ask all questions you may have this is a sale and I will give an honest answer. It is not an opportunity to reserve first look and then you have to ask permission from someone else. The financial terms of the auction must be completed within 7 days the car may sit longer (let's discuss) while travel or transport issues are worked out. Willing to sell world wide as long as the dollars are converted to that ever deflating U.S. greenback.
