1977 BMW R-Series

1977 BMW R100/7. Strong runner, excellent mechanically. Paint is original, and looks it. Bike has been laid down one time on the left side. No frame damage whatsoever; the bike slid to a gentle stop. There is grinding on the left valve cover from the concrete (see pics). Original Luftmeister fairing damaged in the lay down and not on bike, so i'm including a replacement that will need to be painted. I am glad to throw in the original if you'd like, otherwise it's going to the dump. Glass on the tach was broke, but both gauges work perfectly. I had them rebuilt about 2 years ago. Recent ring job. Recent front "Progressive" springs. Koni's on the rear. New rear tire. Recent rubber all the way around. New clutch. All recent cables. Short work to a great running and looking R100. ADDED 4/26 - A couple of items to mention that I thought of in the night. I want everything to be up front so that you know what you are getting. The gas tank has a couple of small dents on the right side (I didn't take specific pictures of them because they are not really noticeable unless you're looking for them); other than that it is in excellent operating condition with new pet cocks and filters installed recently. The center stand is missing one of the springs so you have to dork with it a little - it's an easy fix.
