Vehicle Detail
This is a non-smoking, California car. I brought it to Houston 1 year ago. It has a clear Texas title. It runs and can be driven, but, it needs the turbo rebuilt (it make a loud squeling sound and it is not adding power. I got a quote from http://www.turbochargers.com/ in Houston of $275 for this service. If you knew what you were doing you could also bypass the Turbo and just have a non-turbo car. Currently it has 222 HP and this would take it to 168 HP. Before the turbo broke it was my daily driver. Overall the car is in decent shape for its age. I have replaced springs, shocks, shock mounts, struts, strut mounts, tie rods, drive shafts, timing belt, floor mats, Kumho Ecsta ASX tires (less than 5000 miles), trim molding, air filter, cabin filter (upgrade, these cars didn't come with it), blower motor, upgraded front grill, brake rotors, brake pads, and added a shock tower brace. Now for what is broken. The major piece is the turbo (mentioned above). Also, the rear wiper doesn't work, one of the rear seatbelt latches is missing, the odometer is stuck, the front driver-side fender is slightly bent, and the driver-side window doesn't roll up and down (I have the parts to fix). The sunroof and other three windows work. It has the full spare and tool kit. This is the first year and model of car ever to have side airbags. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. I have done my best to accurately portray the car. I think it would be a great car for someone who is handy at fixing things as all of the problems are very minor. You could also easily part it out for well over $5000. Just the seats and external trim would fetch over $1000. I would do it myself if I had the room and time :-/
