1964 Dodge 440 2 Door Post - Rare Car - Radio and Heater Delete This car has had a total resto about 10 years ago, but it still looks great, almost new. No rust anywhere - paint, chrome and stainless are like new. The car was born a six cylinder car - now it sports a 440, 30 over with a six pack intake - the block is from a '69 Roadrunner - with a six pack set-up with a 430 gear, 8 3/4 rear with Moser axles. The 440 is hooked up to a 727 heavy duty push button transmission that was completely rebuilt and a 3000 converter - It is a solid lifter roller cam - compression 9:7:1 - 244 duration with a 510 lift - quick ratio manual steering box - The cooling system is an aluminium radiator with dual electric fans - battery is in the trunk - 3 1/2 inch exhaust all the way back with dumps. The car runs fine on 93 octane pump gas. This car has not been cut up - the interior is like brand new as well as the dash and rugs - has auto meter Tach and gauges. The car drives and rides like a new car and is a monster and has won many first place awards and turns heads wherever you go. Car has only been driven about 1,500 miles since it was completly redone and has never been left outside. The car leaps out of the hole, took it out to the Nostagia Drags at Bradenton Motorsports Park here in Bradenton and it ran an 11:50 quarter mile. They stopped me and said I needed a roll cage in it but the car is to nice to cut up. That is the only time I have ever had it at the track.
