Vehicle Detail

Relisting - Car didn't sell last time. I was suprised. Unfortuately for me, the car has to go, so relisting at a giveaway price - this is a super deal for someone........ 1964 Fairlane Station Wagon - Car runs very well. I have driven this car quite a bit, never misses a beat. You could drive this car home, but keep in mind it is 46 years old, so if you have a long distance, trailering it might be a good option. The 6 cylinder engine purrs. Car does not overheat. I was told that the engine is a 200ci. The 2 speed transmission shifts properly. Mileage is unknown. The floors have patch panels due to rust out. They were repaired using sheet metal and are solid now. There is rust in the quarter panels and the tailgate. Also, the tailgate hinge on the passenger side is cracked and separated. This would need repair, but I have been using it anyway, just not putting too much weight on it. I think it could be fixed. The window crank on the tailgate is included, it is in the car. The tailgate window mechanisim inside the tailgate is broken, but you can roll the window up and down. Most of the electrical works, (lights, etc) except the blinkers. they do not work, I have not trouble shooted the problem. The speedo works, and the gas gauge even seems to work. Tires have good tread. All of the window glass looks to be original and it is in good shape. The headliner needs replaced, it is missing a section in the back, and has a couple of rips. Also the seat upholstry needs replaced, it is original and worn out. I had some door panels from a 4 door Fairlane and installed the front because the original ones had speaker holes and were trashed. i have the matching ones for the rear doors and will include them to the buyer. Overall, just a great old wagon with lots of potential. I really hate to sell this car, I love to drive it and had big plans for it, but we decided we want to buy a boat, and I need the space. No international bidders except for Canada. If you have less than 5 feedback, you need to call me first or I will cancel your bid. Also, I have advertised this car locally and I reserve the right to cancel this auction if there are no bids. Call Chris on my cell phone: 509-280-4156
