Retired Glynn County Police Interceptor - 2002 Ford Crown Victoria P71 in great condition with Front Push Bar and Trunk Tray - ready to roll & put to work or just have some fun in! (WARNING - Folks in front of you will slow down traffic out of mere fear as you come up behind them.) You probably already know about the legendary P71 package that Interceptors have fitted, these cars when well maintained can run for 300,000+ miles and most end their police life and go on to be taxis or security vehicles. Due to the budget cuts it is extremely rare now to find low mileage retired Interceptors as the municipalities tend to hold on to the cars & not retire them as often as they used to. It is also becoming rare to find any White Chase Vehicles - most are dark hidden colors. I work with the auxiliary police in town and when this POWERFUL and FAST unit came available, I jumped on it for a turn-over sale. (But I didn't want to let it go to soon, because it has an 'air of power' to it. It was my third car - used only when I was late to patrol and wanted a clear lane of traffic. I put on less than 2000 miles - but it runs like a charm. Starts everytime on first turn with no gas pedal depression.) The front Push Bar keeps the authentic Special Pursuit Vehicle look. (The light bar roof assembly obviously was removed. The wiring harness most likely remains hidden. The roof access hole was sealed and painted over so you will not be able to see any difference and no water will enter vehicle - in other words - roof is like new.) This car turns heads and commands respect like no other, enables you a clear path through dense traffic & is just plain SINISTER, STEALTHY & HAS ATTITUDE. Even the local cops acknowledge it!!! (They will wave and flash their Roll Side Lights at you to say hello. - Side note - you may experience less 'stops' for minor violations.) NO RUST - However there are some minor paint chips - as expected with an 8 year old car - (Like near the key slot and hood edge. I performed touch-up on most. One small ding at the rocker panel under the driver side door - curb level and a buffable black mark on the rear passenger door. You wouldn't notice either if I didn't tell you. The car starts first time, stops straight and the engine pulls like a train. All the tires are fairly new - pictures reflect adequate tread for a couple of years ahead. This car has many years of life left in it for work or pleasure. Turning to the inside, the rear seat looks new (vinyl - for easy passenger - prisoner - slide), while the two fronts are matching color in cloth - customary in Police Cars. No visible damage or excessive wear on seats. New floor mats and center console cup holders / cargo hold and steering wheel cover - all matching. AM/FM radio and A/C heat works great for Southern Weather. The air blows ice cold. Only known issue is the automatic adjustable mirror switch does not work. Have not checked into it. But the mirrors still work and adjust by hand. The front seat belts were originally removed by the County - but I had the local dealer replace them with FACTORY NEW Assemblies. All molded plastic trim work has also been replaced - so interior looks clean. Some minor dash screw holes for prior microphone clips, and some velcro patches. The under dash has 6 additional electrical outlets - lighter style - but higher output. These units are currently disconnected but can easily be rewired. The interior roof is in great condition, with the exception of one clean slot where the County removed the camera mount. Great place for garage remote or additional interior light. The Search Light was also removed - but can easily be returned. (Cost about $40).
