This 4 Runner is not operational. The engine slung a piston rod. My son went riding with some friends in a place he was not familiar. There he dropped the front end in a deep hole that "shouldn't have been deep", and water was sucked into the intake. We drained the front axle oil and the transmission oil just to be sure no water got in, but the oil didn't have any water and it wasn't milky. Before the event, everything was functional. The A/C worked well. It has a sun roof, 4 doors, cruise control, automatic transmission, rear window operational. I recently replaced a antilock wheel sensor and front support bar. We also installed a new radiator recently. The tires are 31's with 50% tread left. The 4WD worked well with both front wheels locking in when you put it in 4WD mode. I have the running boards but they are not shown in the pictures. I also have a clear title that will go with the sale. The rear driver's side door has a rust hole in it that we didn't repair yet. You can see that in one of the pictures. We cut out the bad metal to get it ready for a neighbor to repair .....no need now. I don't want to tackle installing a new engine myself. So, I am hoping that someone will have the time and skills to install a new engine. The roof rack and front guard shown in one of the pictures do not go with the sale. My son put over $500 in those items including the lights. He would entertain offers for those items. Send an email if interested in those items only. Shipping is not included in this bid.
