I have been selling cars for 8 years and I have NEVER seen a pre-owned car so well maintained, cared for, documented, and in such one of a kind condition. The previous and ONLY owner of this car was a general in the US Army and bought is car brand new back in 1995. He took amazing care of this vehicle in EVERY way and it shows. This ONE OWNER E300D will come with a VA state inspection, to assure that it is in great condition. You will not find too many Mercedes like this around, this car was owned by a true Mercedes enthusiast and collector that owned 3 other Mercedes. If this cars odometer read 20K miles, your wouldnt contest it, it truly is that incredible. Exterior ConditionThe exterior of this E300D is in amazing condition for the miles and has been amazingly well cared for. This car is 100% accident free, all panels are 100% original, and there is ZERO bondo on the car. The paint is 100% original so even though is looks amazing it is 15 years old. The wheels are in great condition and show ZERO curb wear, and the MICHELIN tires are in great condition. This E300 looks as if its a 20k mile car, I tried to include as many pictures as possible so you can see the true condition of the car. You will be very very impressed with with the condition of exterior. This car was garaged Kept since DAY 1 of ownership, and well as monthly details. The owner informed me the car NEVER has seen snow. ( The wife informed us, she hated driving with him in the car because he would park far away from any car in the parking lot just so it wouldnt get door dings) Interior ConditionThe interior of this E300 is in PRISTINE condition. When you see this car, it was amaze you that is it has over 100K miles. Once again, I honestly have 2007 and 2008 model cars on my lot that do not look as clean and well cared for as this E class. The carpets are in amazing condition and look brand new The seats are in like new condition and show ZERO wear. The owner informed me every month when the car was professionally detailed, they conditioned the leather seats and it shows as they show ZERO stress lines. Much of the interior actually looks brand new. There are ZERO cigarette burns or any odors that would indicate it was a smokers vehicle. The photos below will show EVERY part of the interior so you can see for yourself how clean it is. The interior is a 9.5 out of 10. I take a 1/2 point away bc its a pre-owned car. Its pretty much FLAWLESS. The dash is also 100% crack free which is very rare for this car. EVERYTHING in this car works like it did when it was brand new. All power components, AC, Radio, etc. This E300 is in great condition in every way, the motor runs great and is very strong. All driving components work just as they should, the tranny is nice and tight and shifts very smooth, the brakes work great, the steering is very firm and tight, and the complete drive-train has no issues. The AC blows ICE cold. As great condition as this car is, IT IS a pre owned car therefore you will find some minor wear from it being driven, both interior and exterior. On Apr-27-10 at 21:06:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I would like to add something Ive noticed today: The paint while is great overall condition does show minor "brushing" when under certain light. Ive spoken to a few Mercedes Gurus today and they said this happens to all these diesels, while most of the time its far worse than this car. From 5' away you dont see it at all. It only appears in certain lighting and within a 2-3' distance of the car. As you see it the pics, its doesnt even show in 1 photo and I shoot with a Rebel XT ( high end camera) You probably wouldnt notice it, but I just want to bring it to your attention. I would take pics but its hard to capture in a photo. I will discuss with my detailer the options, maybe a good buff will take care of it. Once again, very very minor issue, they are not paint scratches or defects, just common wear on these cars.
