*** PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FUNDS IN ORDER AND KNOW WHAT SHIPPING WILL COST BEFORE BIDDING !!!***EMAIL ME AND I CAN GIVE YOU A QUOTE ON SHIPPING FROM MY DOOR TO YOUR DOOR********************** PLEASE READ THE AD FULLY!!!************************ This is for a 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA.This is the real deal.This was a rare factory Candy Apple red car with black interior.as you can see it is black now,but if you look close you can still see traces of red.I also have a complete parts car listed also that is a original GTA big block car too.See my other items for sale.Email me for a price for both cars.*** The serial plate on the door matches the radiator support #.This is essentialy a 3 owner car and has been in this area all of its life.This car still has its original 390 engine and trans that have been completly rebuilt and have less than 3K miles on them.I have lots of reciepts for all the work done. The original block was vatted and the original crank was turned 10/10.The heads are also original to the car and were completly rebuilt.All #'s match.I have all the receipts on machine work and parts.The car has a new big block 3 core radiator from Dearborn Classics and a set of Tri-Y headers, with a full 2.5 inch exhaust and Flowmasters.The car sounds awesome!!I have the original rare GTA 390 exhaust manifolds also.See photos.It has a New Holley Street avenger carb installed on the original intake manifold.I have the original corect Holley carb that will come with the car also.The brakes and rubber lines are new and stop fine for manual drum brakes.The car has Manual steering that is still nice and tight.The car runs and drives Great.It is Very fast.The motor was built with a mild crane cam.I have the specs.The body is overall very straight and solid.The car was originaly Candy Apple RED with Black interior.The trunk area is very solid and is still wearing most of its original red paint.The quarters are very solid as are all the frame rails.This car was bought new in this area and has been here all of its life.The rockers are rock solid.There is NO rust around the battery box.The ony rust on the car is some minor rust in the drivers side front pan and a little in the passenger side front pan.There is some rust on the cowl on the drivers side where a mouse had a nest.It can be easily fixed.The hood is very straight and solid but does have some rust in the very center.I believe it was due to a small carb fire at one time.The car has all of its original hubcaps and the tires are fair.The interior is all intack but will need redoing.The dash is cracked in one spot in the middle,but is still in nice shape.The console is perfect.All the wiring is excellent and everything still works including the door lights.I have a new headliner and new seat foam,bottom and back(Complete for both front seats) still in the original boxes from Dearborn classics.The doors open and shut smooth and tight.All the glass is excellent with the exception of the front windshield.It has a large star on the drivers side lower corner,it might can be fixed.*******If you need to see any additional photos just email me and let me know what you want to see.I have alot of photos that ebay did not have room for.The parts car I have listed is a factory air car with power steering and power brakes.Let me know if you would like to buy them both togather and I can arrange it.****This car would probably drive anywhere but as with all old cars anything can go wrong,so I recommend transporting just to be safe.Please note my feedback and bid with confidance.I am pricing this for a quick sale with a fair low reserve.**** Please note my feedback,I describe my cars as accuraly as possible.
