It has been stored inside for 20 years. THIS IS A RARE FIND. This belonged to my mother and she parked before she got sick and she passed away nearly 16 years ago. This was not running and had an electrical issue. Nobody here want this nor want to work on it. This is a convertible. I do not know if the mileage is correct. That is just what the odometer says. This is a project and for the most part, the body looks good and is not filled with rust. This needs a good cleaning for sure. There is a musty smell inside. It need 4 new tires as these are all bad. I did put tubes the front ones so we could roll it out of the garage. We really need the room here and need it hauled away within 7 days after the auction ends. If it is here longer, we have to put plates on it and if you want to buy them, it can stay longer. Overall the car is good but I cannot even get the hood open as I do not know how. I did find a broken latch for the hood release but I cannot see where is was broken from. I urge you to come a take a look at this and maybe you can figure it out. If a book will fit in a Flat Rate Mailer, I will ship it internationally using Priority Flat Rate. I also wrap those books in paper for extra protection. On Apr-22-10 at 12:49:18 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTENTION: Someone was kind enough to stop by here and get the hood open for me today. We turned the engine by hand and it does turn. The engine is a 1275 and does appear to be very complete. The number on the engine is CJ/DA/H 3159. The door tag has a manufacture date of 7/70 and that is the actual date of manufacture. It did not sell until 1971 and that is why it is titled as 1971.
