Please read carefully: This car has been a great car and i drive it regularly, and the ac blows cold. The body has a few repairable dents and rust spots, but overall not too bad. the car is running in the pictures, and as you can see there is very little to no smoke in the exhaust. the car needs a new alternator (i think less than 50 bucks), and has a cracked windshield. There is a small oil leak, but the oil pressure has always been good, and the oil level has never been low. there are 4 new struts on the car, and 4 newer tires, but there is still a suspension noise that I cant identify. Also I just replaced the valve cover gasket, oil pressure sending unit, and serviced the car. This car gets 42 miles per gallon on the highway!!! 5 speed manual transmission. the girl who had the car before me replaced the fuel lines to run biodiesel in it, (i don't live near a place to buy biodiesel, so i have never run it in the car.) and then she forgot to hook up the fuel gauge! I was planning to keep this car and drive it forever, but I need to liquidate some assets, and my wife wont let me sell her subaru. I would drive this car to california tomorrow with no worries! i have included photos of the car and highlights of the damage, also a video of the car starting and running at cold temperature so you can see how clean it runs. Not only is this the only one of its kind on E Bay, it would appear there are none listed elsewhere online (in the US). One very experienced gentleman informed me that these cars can get 50MPG on bio diesel and that with a nominal expense, can be converted to operate from cooking grease. Let me be clear: this car will run on commercially sold bio diesel as is. I was also informed that ALL mechanical and operator's manuals are avilable for free to download online, as well as plans/drawings for converting, storing and producing one's own bio diesel fuel.
