MERCEDES ENTHUSIAST 1987 Mercedes 190D Turbo classic in pretty good condition. This is a well preserved all original Benz powered by the very reliable 5 cylinder 2.5 Turbo diesel engine. These cars are becoming hard to find, especially the ones in this condition. The interior is excellent with no rips or cracks on seats or dash. The exterior only shows normal wear with scratches here and there hard to see in the pictures. The NADA book value for this car ranges from $3250 low $4050 average and $5225 high!!! We bought this car for our son but he wants a pick up go figure. We have replaced all of the fluids and filters. We also had it inspected for safety and everything is running mechanically perfect. This has been my daily driver for the past 2 weeks and we are selling it to buy a pick up!!! The sunroof, power door locks, antenna, radio, cruise, instrument panel gauges including the clock all work. The climate control works but needs to be service and the passenger rear window does not go down but all of the other window work properly. Also there are small cosmetic imperfections in some of the wood and rear bumper as seen in the pictures. This car drives excellent without rattles, vibration and handles well. The engine is powerful and it performs just as it should. The car has 220 miles, which is low mileage for this year. The speedometer, odometer both work well and the engine starts the first time every time in any weather. The transmission shifts smoothly and I average 28-36 MPG depending on the type of driving. The body is in great shape. The paint is all original and under close inspection you can see rust areas. The antenna occasionally moves slowly and the cruse control tends to race. The tires are Hankook and Goodrich tires in excellent condition. The spare tire and wheel are new. You will be pleased with this car, it is ready to drive across the country. I have done my best to described this car and probably forgot something so do not assume anything and ask any questions if you are ready to buy. If for any reason you are not happy with the purchase of this vehicle you are not obligated to buy it!!! There is a $200 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours after the auction’s end. The rest of the money must be pay in cash or cashiers’ check from a reputable bank within a week.
