Up for auction at NO RESERVE!!!! Super rare Toyota Celica Sunchaser, this is a factory ordered convertible made by the Famous Griffith Company. According to the tag in the glove box this is ID Number #D 312 . I purchased this car as a project hoping to have it redone but Thanks to a dishonnest body guy I have lost intrest. He quoted me $1400 total to redo the car including paint work so like a dumb *ss I gave him half up front, he showed up dropped off some supplies said ill be back and its been 2 Months!!!!! The car has the 20R engine with a webber carb. the car starts but carb needs adjusting.(looks like previous owner replaced the fuel pump) It is an automatic. The rear section of the convertible top that is on the car was custom made by the previous owner but I have a Brand new one that looks like the Original one. I also have the middle section. All lights guages and even the clock work. The dash has some cracks, the radio is missing but has the optional cassette player still installed. The front seats are there but must be redone and the rear seat is missing. The previous owner removed the catalitic converter so it is loud. The driver door wont latch maybe an adjustment issue with the striker? Car comes with many recipts that date back to when it was new including recipts for the transmission being rebuilt. Has awsome looking Griffith embroidered panels inside. When was the last time you saw one of these! Own a cool car, its a project but I dont think it will take much to make it look great plus comes with all the supplies the body guy brought. Please only bid if you are serious about buying.
