2000 Ford Excursion Limited Up for auction is a clean 2000 Ford Excursion Limited with 124,378 miles. It has a beautiful color scheme with dark blue paint and tan trim work and chrome bumpers. I have always serviced this vehicle with quality parts. It has newer BF Goodrich Radial Longtrail T/A tires, brand new high-performance drilled & slotted brake rotors on front and back, brand new ceramic brake pads on front and back, a brand new Interstate battery and a recent oil change. This truck runs and drives absolutely perfect and is great for traveling because it seats 8 adults COMFORTABLY....plus has plenty of room for luggage. The mileage isn't bad for a 2000 and much of it has been highway miles. I have driven this truck to Florida 5 times and once to Colorado. I have also made countless trips to go skiing in Vermont and several trips to New York City and Boston. Go Yankees! It is also an excellent truck for towing. I have never towed anything bigger than a utility trailer with a lawnmower, but this truck has the capability to tow virtually anything. The truck shows some normal wear for the year and mileage in regards to the seats, carpeting and paint, but is overall in very good shape. On Apr-21-10 at 18:07:45 PDT, seller added the following information: It has been brought to my attention that the eBay vehicle report states that there is a possible odometer descrepency because it was reported to have 89,000 miles in 2004 and then reported to have 86,000 miles in 2008. All I can think is that there must have been a typo the last time the vehicle was titled. I was a car dealer from 1993 to 2008 and I bought this vehicle in 2004 from a from wholesale dealer. At that time the vehicle had 89,000 miles on it and title that I received showed the last recorded miles to be 64,000. I drove the vehicle for 4 years on a dealer plate, but decided to close my dealership in April of 2008. Since I no longer had dealer plates I had to register the vehicle in my own name. I believe the vehicle had about 106,000 miles on it when I registered it, but somehow it it came up as 86,000. I was not aware of this until now. In any case, this vehicle does have 124,000 real miles on it and the odometer discrepency in absolutely false. Also, it was reported to have had an accident with undercarraige damage in 2007. I did run over a chunk of a tractor trailor tire on the highway in North Corolina on my way home from Florida in 2007. The transfer case was damaged and I had to have the vehicle towed home. My insurance company paid for a new transfer case, but I didn't realize that they reported it as an accident. Please email me with any other questions.
