A very rare El Car designed by the famous Italian Sports car designer Zagato.The car is cute and fun to driver, really this car makes me laugh every time I take it for a spin.The El Car as it was named in the USA, was developed as an answer to the OPEC crisis in the mid1970's.This was the first electric car introduced into the United States. You can go to YouTube and watch the advertisement video, just put in Zagato Zele.The batteries have been updated, so they will not need replacing for quite a while.The motor system runs off 8 - six volt batteries.The electrical utility system runs off a single 12 volt battery.Anyway, not much to say. If you want a collectors' car, the one no other collector has, this is it. This is not your daily use car, this is a fun car for meets and making people smile. The top speed by design is 25 mph.You will have a great time with this little gem. The paint is stupid! It is brushed on. I had plans to make this into a woody which would only take a weekend.
