The City of Fernandina is disposing of one (1)1968 Ford F-250 by means of a NO RESERVE auction. This truck has a V8 engine with manual transmission. The truck is four wheel drive. This truck is in poor overall condition, but it does start immediately and the engine runs well. This truck was used as a foam holding truck for our local municipal airport. This truck has very low miles and would be a great restoration or parts vehicle. The vehicle is not driveable. The brake lines are rusted and leaking and need to be repaired. All items are in working condition and were removed from service due to recent upgrade. There may be small issues that were overlooked during inspection prior to listing. The City of Fernandina Beach encourages all prospective bidders to inspect surplus items prior to bidding. It was driven around town and it drove fine, but one of the brake lines started leaking. Engine is a 390ci V8.
