This is one Great starter car!! It is very solid, has virtually no rust and runs!! It is your basic 75 El Camino, and it was titled in California until about 5 years ago, which explains the lack of rust. A friend has come to need money more than this type of project, and we told him that we know people on EBAY are good hearted people, and someone out there will help him out. The Good: It is a very solid 75 El Camino, has a decent 350 in it, runs and shifts good, and has no visible oil leaks. It has good tires, new blower motor, wiper motor, and air pump, and we drove it out of his backyard where it has sat for 2 years, put fresh gas in it, and it drove 30 miles on the freeway @ 65-75 with no problems. It has power steering, power brakes (new pads) and is an air equipped car. The side windows roll up and down, it has a hitch, and all the lights work. It drove remarkably well, and straight, and had no vibrations. did not overheat, and smoked very little then quit after about 5 miles....and all the A/C equipment is intact, as well as the EGR, A.I.R. Pump. and Catalytic converter, The muffler and pipe is new, and the body is all there and pretty straight. I can't see an oil leak anywhere. See... Lots of good stuff !!!!! Now the not so good: It needs a whole new interior, the A/C belt is gone, and the clutch on the compressor is shot, the windshield has a 8 inch crack right in the middle, and the rear bumper is bent on the right side. It needs paint and a fan clutch, the doors need bushings, and the battery is very old. See, not too much not so good... All in all a very good starter project, at a very good price...
