Hello, This is a NO Reserve auction for 1993 BMW 740i, , This beautiful Champagne color 740i is fully loaded, Cd Changer, Cassett, Power passenger and driver seats, Memory driver seat, heated driver and passenger seat, dual zone climate control, power windows, Power doors, power mirrors, Moon Roof, Traction control, Powerful 282 HP 4.0 V8, door mirror memory, steering wheel memory, Remote Keyless entry, Radar detector. I purchased this vehicle in 1999 from a dealer, I used it primerly for weekends and travels, I've only put 38000 miles since I owned it 11 years ago... I purchased another car mid 2005, and started using more while this BMW was getting less and less time on the road... I pulled the tag off last year, disconnected the battery and had it sitting for a while, but every once a while I would take it for a spin around the neighborhood. Last winter I tired to turn it on but it would not, I got a Mechanic to look at it, the fuel pump needed to be replaced, so I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filters it cost me $700... the car drives really smooth, The SRS light needs to be rest, while trying to adjust the back tilt for passenger seat I disconnected the power to the seat which triggered the SRS light... but I don't have the little device to rest it. The coolant level is on, however coolant is full, it might be faulty float or just stuck. I drove the car few times last week, it drives really smooth, hugs the road beautifully while driving the winding county roads. The pictures show the car as if it just came out of the dealership, the car is 17 years old, it does NOT look like a brand new car, it has few dings and scratches and normal wear . I think the car can use a good detailing.... the capet on the inside is clean but has some spots.... the seats are in very good condition, the driver seat has few minor scratches on it but no tears. This Car is being auctioned where is, as is, no warranty offered, Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost. $500 non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction, and the balance is due within 10 days of the auction. On Apr-17-10 at 08:50:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi again, since the car was parked for a while,I decided to drive it around the neighborhood just to make sure there're no surprises, ... I was checking all fluids and noticed that the coolant in the reservoir wasn't hot or at leat warm as it should've been.... I pulled the Thermostat and checked it, it works fine, then installed the thermostat housing without the thermostat, still the coolant is not flowing to the engine, so I think the water pump needs to be replaced, the car is not overheating but I only had it idling for about 20 minutes till the needle got to the middle, New water pump on ebay around $70. please don't hesitate to contact me with your question, I will give you an honest answer about the car and tell you what I know.
