this is a 1966 belvedere 2 two door hardtop. it is all original with a manual tranny with shifter on the column. it is very solid with only the rear qtrs. needing attention most on the right side. it comes with a 273 engine which does not run. the previous owner told me that when he switched from column shift to a floor shift he never finished the job. you can tell this is true by way of looking at the botched job he tried to acomplish. he also said that the engine would crank and run before he started the switch but i cannot guarantee that statement i never tried to start the engine as i had a 440 i wanted to replace it with. i have too many projects and i will never get to finish this one. all the trim is there with a replacement tail light on the left and right rear. the finish panel on the deck lid is in very good shape, all the glass is very good with the exception of the windshield. the trunk has rust only in the deepest part and can be replaced without needing to replace the entire trunk. floors, doors, hood, decklid are in very good shape. this would be an easy restoration compared to some i have been involved with but i'm gonna let this one go to a more deserving owner. fix the few problems, drop a 440 in and have a very sharp ride. doesn't run so you will need to trailer it home.
