You are bidding to win the pictured 1970 Volkswagen Bug. This car has a clean title. I'm not sure about the mileage, I think it should be 102,268 but the title says 202,268 so I used what was on the title. I got this car for a project seven years ago but I now have too many projects and this is no where close to the top of the list so I'm selling the car. This would be a great project for someone with the time to do it. It is a standard beetle, it has pop out rear windows. The car has a 1600 single port engine. It was running before I pulled it apart to replace the main seal and heads because one of the spark plug holes was stripped. I got a set of low mileage single port heads off ebay six years ago. The engine is still apart (see pictures). The body has rust as you would expect. How much I'm not sure. The floor seems solid but I'm not a body man. I have a bunch of new parts that go with it including running boards, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brakes, etc. Basically everything I bought for it. There is no reserve. The shipping and pick up of this car is the buyers responsibility. A deposit of $250.00 need to be made within 48 hours of the end of the auction. I will do my best to answer any questions.
