1953 Willys Jeep pickup truck that is in really nice original shape. Starts, runs,drives. Engine starts and will sit there and run like a clock all day. Has the original flathead six cylinder in it. Engine, trans differentials, and 4x4 all seem to work well. Brakes operate but 1 brake line seems to be seaping a little. Body is in really nice condition, the bottom of the drivers door has a piece of metal patched in but the truck comes with a really nice replacement door (as seen in the bed pics). Wooden bed floor was replaced with a heavy sheet of steel and seems to be in good condition. Cab corners look good and will only need a very small repair on the drivers side. Frame and undercarraige look good and will only need minor repairs to the cab supports on both sides that run directly under the rocker panels but the rocker panels look ok. I do believe this is the original paint and the original dealer emblem or foil sticker is on the cab. This truck would make an excellent "survivor" driving vehicle with a weekend of minor maintenance or a really easy and fun restoration with very little time or effort. All potential bidders are invited to come and look at the vehicle before bidding. Auction is binding and final, truck comes with no warranty, and transaction must be completed within seven (7) days. Cash or certified bank funds only, no personal checks. I am selling this truck for my father who recently lost his job of thirty years. He is not computer saavy at all but I do invite you to ask questions and I will answer them as best as possible. I do work full time but I will check for questions atleast once per day.
