This is a nice example of a classic,rapidly appreciating bmw,which was in storage for many years and only had covered 18k miles when put away.It was given a complete service and change of fluids,the top end was rebuilt with new push rode seals and piston rings installed. The original cross hatching was still visable on the Nicksail bores.The wheels were powder coated and new tires fitted,plus brake calipers were rebuilt and stainless flex lines used. Battery is new.This bike has completed an additional 2k since and has had no issues, no oil leaks,no smoke from exhaust. Paintwork is good but not perfect,with the usual pin head size chips here and there. No cracks in fairing which has been fitted with a shorter screen. This can be returned to normal easily and cheaply Please note that fuel cap is none factory but compliments the bike.
