Hello, how many of these rare Rokon motocross bikes have you ever seen? This bike is the 340 automatic, powered by a Sachs 2 stroke engine. These bikes did very well in national competitions during the few short years they were produced. No motocross collection is complete without one! I've been told that only 420 of these MX2's were made. Made in the USA. This bike has been painstakingly restored with many nos parts. It is ready for display or can be run in vintage motocross. It has not been started since the restoration, only displayed. Motor was bench run to confirm operation before being installed in the bike.Nos California pipe (no dents), engine and brake parts. New ignition (Bosch), all new bearings , seals, gaskets. All rubber items new. Tires, tubes, strips new. Original seat in nice shape. New exact replica Preston Petty fenders.If it showed wear it was replaced with new / nos. Nos chain, sprockets, belt. Rebuilt forks / shocks. New VM mikuni.Notice: the clutch belt is not installed as that makes these bikes hard to push around. Rokon belt is included and is easily installed. Some of the pics show dirt splatters on the bike, these are from bringing the bike back from a recent show on an open trailer, they will wipe off. I would have done it if I had seen them before taking the pics. I won't get into the history / design of these bikes, there is plenty of information online. A super rare bike in great condition. This is a vintage motocross bike, designed for off-road, no title just bill of sale on this one (ebay shows "clear title", but this never came with one here in Colorado). Sold as-is with no warranty, but check out my feedback and bid with confidence. Shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I will store for up to 30 days after the auction, beyond that I charge $10 a day storage fee. I've had too many people pay for bikes then expect me to store them for months at a time. A non-refundable paypal deposit is required right after the auction ends, the balance of the purchase is due via check within 7 days. Bike cannot be picked up / shipped until check clears. Shipping is the buyers responsibility as is all shipping costs. I've sold close to 20 of my vintage bikes here on Ebay and can provide the buyer with contact numbers for good shippers.
