Vehicle Detail

This is a sweet 1966 Chevy II Nova complete frame-off custom restoration. This restoration lasted from 2009-2012 with updates since. The original car had very little rust on it but had a '67 front clip. AMD fenders and hood replaced the 67 parts. Any rot was cut out and replaced with AMD patch panels. Headlight buckets and grill mounts are original used '66 parts, it has Chevy 2 Only grill and bezels. Now for the fun stuff. She is powered by a 383 stroker with Sniper Fire EFI built by Keech's Big Machine in Sarasota, Florida backed by a built 700R4 trans and B&M Hammer shifter. A Griffin aluminum radiator, GM Performance serpentine belt system with 140 amp one wire alternator rounds out the engine. I did put Nitrous in the car, never used it and pulled it out because the car is scary fast the way it is. I replaced the junker rear with a Moser 12 bolt with .373 posi gears, Caltrac bars and frame rail connectors. She has a Heidts sub-frame with power rack and pinion, front disc brakes underneath with powder coated inner fender panels and support bars. Factory type rear drum brakes with adjustable portioning valve with all new lines installed during the resto. A Vintage Air heat and air works well, stereo with amps make plenty of sound and can be heard over the Turbo mufflers. The paint is absolutely beautiful. I keep calling the car her because she is nick-named the Black Widow. There is a hand painted name "Black Widow" on the rear trunk lid just below the chrome trim and several other places. They are all on top of the clear coat and can be removed. On the left side of the car the cars filler was shaved and a modern style gas door and filler welded in place and it looks factory. I also removed all the fins on top of the front cowl under the windshield (where the black widows lived) and welded in a steel panel and finished it off. An AMD 2" cow induction hood seals to the foam on the air cleaner, pulling in cool air from the cowl. A bunch of extra parts come with the car. A clear title in my name. Buyer arranges for shipping and I will help with the pick-up. $1,000 PayPal deposit due within 72 hours after the winning bid. Full payment prior to pick-up in cash, PayPal or certified bank check. The car does not go anywhere until the money has cleared. Call with questions, 828-808-5411. Private seller. I am not interested in trades or putting it on consignment with a dealer. I am selling this car due to health reasons and I am also listing locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. There are a few small issues that I want to bring to your attention. There is a dime size dent on top of the front left fender where I dropped a small wooden box (cigar humidor) on the fender, and a fine scratch on the right rear quarter that may buff out. There are a couple of dings on the corners of the hood. It's a beautiful car but it is not an $85,000 auction car. Many more build photos are available, call for info.
